Storytelling: Rutgers Uses Seinfeld

I just love Seinfeld, and never seem to tire of it. Matter of fact, when I have a bout of insomnia from a full day, I watch an episode or two, chuckle and quickly fall back asleep.
So it was fun to hear about Rutgers University professor, Dr. Anthony Tobia, using Seinfeld to teach psychiatry. Dr. Tobia assigns two episodes a week. He says it gimmickly engages students but from that point on, it’s serious in that it provides scenes to teach major points of psychiatry.
Really there’s something serious about Kramer’s Merv Griffin set, or the summer of George? Indeed there is, and it’s called psych-feld.
